Audiobooks are a great alternative to standard books. You can listen to the best sci fi audiobooks whilst driving in your car, whilst going for a run or even while you are at the gym.

It is a much quicker way to get through a novel and you can probably get through this entire list in audiobook format in the time it would take you to read one standard book.

The 20 Best Sci Fi Audiobook Of All Time

It was hard for me to create such a list, with some great titles not making the cut. Each title is chosen for a different reason.

The majority of these books are extremely famous in the sci fi community and have stood above all other sci fi audiobooks for the originality and quality. Books like “War of the Worlds” ushered in a new era of science fiction and many of these books have been converted into major motion pictures (or soon will be).

This list cannot be perfect, because everyone’s taste is different. But each and every one of these sci fi audiobooks is special and worth being on this list. I hope you enjoy it and I hope you make the decision the read or listen to as many of these titles as possible.
